Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy explains what PTP collects, why, and who processes it.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and, if you provide it, your name. Accounts are managed by Clerk, our authentication provider.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. PTP never sees or stores your full card number.
- Messages you send us: by email.
- Email to members: members receive email about new research and updates to the service, sent through Mailchimp, our email provider. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Mailchimp records whether emails are opened and which links are clicked. With your email address we keep when and where you created your account and the campaign that first brought you to the site.
- Technical information: basic logs and the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect the site, plus the analytics and advertising cookies described below.
How we use it
To provide your account and subscription, show the content your membership includes, process payments, respond to messages, send account and billing notices, send email about new research and updates to the service, and keep the site secure.
Who processes your data
We share data only with service providers that run or measure the site: Clerk (accounts), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (analytics, and data storage for published tables — no member data), Meta and X (measuring our advertising), and Mailchimp (our email provider, for email about new research and updates to the service). We do not sell your personal information.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We use the Meta Pixel and the X Pixel to measure the results of our advertising on Facebook, Instagram and X, and to show our ads on those platforms to people who have visited the site and to people like them. These pixels use cookies and similar identifiers in your browser and receive information such as the pages you visit, whether a visit led to a free account or a subscription, and the amount of a subscription purchase. Their code also automatically collects technical details such as your IP address and browser and device type. We do not send them your name, email address, phone number or payment details. Meta and X handle this information under their own privacy policies. To opt out of ads based on your visits here:
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram): Ad preferences → Ad settings, at facebook.com/adpreferences
- X: Settings → Privacy and safety → Ads preferences, at x.com/settings/ads_preferences
- Across many advertisers: optout.aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU)
- Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
The homepage can play videos hosted by YouTube; YouTube's player loads, and may set cookies, only after you press play, and is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
We use cookies required for sign-in and security, the analytics and advertising cookies described above, and one first-party cookie of our own that records how you first arrived at the site: the campaign or link you followed, the page you landed on, the referring site, and the date. It contains no name, email address or other contact details and expires after 90 days. If you create an account or subscribe, this record is kept with your account and subscription so we can see which campaigns bring in members.
Retention and your choices
We keep account data while your account is open and as needed for legal, tax, and billing records. You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing probabilityTP@gmail.com. Deleting your account ends access to member content.
Security
We rely on established providers for authentication, payments, and hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The site is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
We will post changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Questions: probabilityTP@gmail.com.
